Hodkinson describes her composition as “an assemblage of urban and musical debris, somewhere between a wordless live radio play, enacted film soundtrack and instrumental theatre”. Angel View is a “sonic bazaar” of urban pictures.
The British composer is known for her multi-disciplinary approach to music. Her works often involve visual and theatrical elements, and are regularly collaborations with other artists.
The concert will be broadcast on DeutschlandradioKultur on March 20 2014.
