        Programme Note

        Matthew Neenan's new work for Pacific Northwest Ballet with music by Oliver Davis was given its premiere by the company on 15th March 2019 at Marion Oliver McCaw Hall, Seattle, conducted by Emil de Cou.

        Inspired by the lush and flamboyant music of Oliver Davis, Bacchus embodies the nature of the Roman god of wine, merriment, and abundance.
