Description:
G. Schirmer, Inc./AMP seeks a full-time rental agent for its rental department in Chester, NY (located 60 miles north of New York City).

    DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
  1. Handle customer inquiries
  2. Process and invoice music rental orders via e-mail and Schirmer's online rental system.
  3. Update and troubleshoot rental orders via phone and e-mail.
  4. Provide technical assistance to customers with the company's online rental system.
  5. Generate monthly rental reports for submission to performing rights societies.
  6. Generate daily sales reports.

    DESIRED SKILLS:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Music or Arts Administration/Leadership.
  2. Strong knowledge and understanding of the orchestral repertoire.
  3. Familiarity with HLMSW (Hire Library Management System for Windows) and Zinfonia preferred.
  4. Deadline and task-oriented.
  5. Excellent verbal and written customer service skills.
  6. Ability to reevaluate daily priorities and workload.
