Season Highlights 2017-2018

New signings include Anna Thorvaldsdottir, John Luther Adams, Eivind Buene and Sarah Kirkland Snider. There are opera productions with scores by Donnacha Dennehy, Avner Dorman, Nico Muhly, Louise Alenius, Rued Langgaard, Missy Mazzoli, and Daniel Catán plus dance and ballet projects with music from Joby Talbot, Brian Elias, Kaija Saariaho and Esa-Pekka Salonen.
Bent Sørensen, Kajia Saariaho, Britta Byström, Hans Abrahamsen, Betsy Jolas, Rolf Wallin and Albert Guinovart each have premiere performances of their orchestral works or concerti this season. There are also new large-scale choral works from Tan Dun, Tarik O'Regan and Judith Weir. In 2018 three iconic American composers, Joan Tower, John Harbison and John Corigliano, will all celebrate their eightieth birthdays.
