Love evokes different connotations for everyone and especially for composers. Whether it is about intimacy, passion, commitment or anything else, we know that love is a powerful enough force to motivate and shape lives. With Valentine's Day right around the corner, take yourself on a journey with this playlist that canvases the different aural palates of love.

Philip Glass's Modern Love Waltz tells of a simple love growing in intensity, only to find itself right back where it started. This enchanting melody is perfectly suited for a ballet duet between two lovers, full of graceful passion. I Would Live in Your Love by Nathan Jones is a perfect choir piece for either small or large choir. This full-bodied work definitely pulls on the heart strings with its chords filled of yearning love. Then Alfredo Antonini's Why Reach for the Moon is a rich orchestra piece surely written to make you swoon as it paints the picture of a classic love story.
