Avner Dorman's music will receive an exceptional number of showcase performances during 2014-15.

The concert season includes four premieres ranging from a violin sonata to a large-scale choral symphony, a composer-residency with the Eugene Symphony, and two orchestral tours across Germany and Austria.

A native of Israel now living in the United States, Dorman writes music that "works its magic by melding far-flung influences and making them sound natural together" (The New York Times).
