The Music Sales Group / Unión Musical Ediciones are very proud to announce that the composer Benet Casablancas has been distinguished with the National Music Prize 2013 (“Premio Nacional de Música 2013”) granted by the Spanish Ministry of Culture. This award is the most prestigious honour of its kind within Spain. The decision of the jury was unanimous regarding the intellectual maturity of Casablancas’s works, the diversity of genres mastered by him and the international impact of his works.
