Eric Whitacre Singers Live in London

Eric Whitacre returns to the Union Chapel in Islington on December 6, with his professional choir the Eric Whitacre Singers.

The concert will include some of Whitacre's much loved choral music, as well as some seasonal favourites. These will be interspersed with a selection of readings, read by special guests james Jolly (Editor and Chief of Gramophone), Professor Andrew Wallace-Hadrill (master of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University) and Josie D'Arby (actress and television presenter). These readings will be written by budding writers and poets who have sent Whitacre their words on the theme of winter or the Christmas season.
