On February 28  2013, the world premiere of Danish pianist Carsten Dahl’s The 5th Dimension will take place in the DR Concert Hall in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Dahl, who is best known for his extensive work in jazz music, will perform this classical composition together with DR Symphony Orchestra, Copenhagen Boys Choir and DR Vocal Ensemble. The 5th Dimension is the grand and moving musical outcome of a long period of anxiety and depression. It represents Carsten Dahl’s take on religion and spirituality as well as his own somewhat peculiar and highly interesting world view. The 5th Dimension is dedicated to the world-renowned Danish composer Per Nørgård.
