The Ways of Lightness and Falling (1991)
- Edition Wilhelm Hansen Copenhagen (World)
Programme Note
This piece is dedicated to Morton Feldman and Per Nørgård as these two great composers have had a very important impact on my music and life.
In a way influences from both can be heard in my trio: Parts of the music keep "growing" in new directions in ways that are related to the manifold work of Per Nørgård. In the middle section this turbulence gives way for a more quiet and introvert music concerned with listening to single sounds, associated to Feldman. And perhaps there is something in the music containing both composers at the same time.
