Benet Casablancas Dove of Peace. Homage to Picasso. (2010)
Commissioned by Cantus Ensemble Croatia for its 10th anniversary. The title makes reference to Georg Büchner’s Lenz, a text that is at the same time beautiful and distressing, something which determines the tone and colour of this work. Conducted by Berislav Sipus and with the prestigious Radovan Vlatkovic as horn soloist, the world premiere of this work was presented on 21st May 2011 at the Vatroslav Lisinski Great Concert Hall in Zagreb (Croatia).
