Reviews
A ten-minute reflection on the one word 'Alleluia', it employs many choral techniques, with consequent interest, challenge and reward for choirs which can keep a secure sense of rhythm and intonation throughout changing times, accentuation, tempi and keys. There are some solo passages for sectional soloists. Towards the close, a maestoso section leads to a fortissimo where the texture simplifies, and from which the dynamic diminishes to a calm end in G.
