The painful process of longing is all there is in life.
This longing is not sad, it describes a life without stasis or complacence.
I have tried to create a life of relentless beauty.
By putting myself where no-one could betray me,
I lost more of the world than I gained.
Fulfilment lies in giving up each thing you strive for and achieve in the hope that there is something better to strive for next.
If you accept this, you will contain the voids, and become the self of which you are now the shadow.
