Programme Note
Composer Note:
In Music for Chamber Orchestra the musical materials are continuously transformed, bringing different elements to the forefront. Though many rapid texture changes ensure an often disjunct surface level, the work is clearly divided into five sections: Introduction, three main sections and coda. Coloristic possibilities of the ensemble are explored in many ways, including soloistic treatment of each instrument at least once in the course of the work.
