Programme Note
The RESPONSE I-IV series was written during the years 1966-1977. In the four works of the series, different combinations of instruments engage in a dialogue with a 19-minute tape element.
In Response III, it is four percussionists who engage in this dialogue with the tape element consisting of electronic as well as concrete material.
