Joby Talbot Falling (1998)
I composed Falling specifically for Phillip Sheppard and his amazing blue cello at a time when I was experiencing a strange sensation of wakelessness and plummeting, of things being well beyond my control. I was beginning to understand the expression 'falling in love'.
