News - The Judas Tree revived

Saturday, February 1, 2003
The Royal Ballet has announced that it will revive its production of The Judas Tree in the Spring. The Judas Tree was premiered in 1992, with a score specially commissioned from Brian Elias. This powerful and gritty portrayal of sexual and betrayal was Kenneth MacMillan's last ballet and the revival will form part of an international celebration of his work. The Judas Tree will be performed in a triple bill on April 29 and 30, and May 2, 3, 8, 9 and 14.
