The British Book

The British Book
The Leipzig based Reinhold Quartet, founded in 1996, consists of members of the renowned Gewandhausorchester. In addition to a busy concert schedule in Germany and abroad, many radio broadcasts and productions have strengthened the wish of the players to perform projects of their own devising.

Their new CD, The British Book, reflects their approach ideally by including Judith Weir’s String Quartet (1990) and works by Edward Elgar and Peter Maxwell Davies.

The CD has been released by GENUIN in collaboration with mdr (Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk) (GEN 860065).
