"Die silberne Rose“, a new choreography by Graeme Murphy with music by Carl Vine will be premiered on December 10 by Bavarian State Ballet at the Nationaltheater in Munich.

The freely adapted version of Hugo von Hofmannsthal’s “Der Rosenkavalier” is the first full evening ballet by Graeme Murphy created for an European dance company. Carl Vine has compiled the score using movements of his symphonies and concertos.

The Australian team is completed by stage and costume designer Roger Kirk. The Bavarian State Orchestra will be conducted by Myron Romanul. For more information, see www.bayerisches.staatsballett.de
