Peter Gregson's 'Bach Recomposed' in Concert at London's Royal Albert Hall
On Wednesday May 1, award-winning cellist and composer Peter Gregson will take to the main stage of London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall accompanied by an ensemble of five fellow cellists to perform a selection of movements from his recent album Recomposed by Peter Gregson: Bach – The Cello Suites.

Gregson’s album is the latest release in Deutsche Grammophon’s pioneering Recomposed series, which invites contemporary composers to reinterpret works in the classical canon. For his record, Gregson ‘recomposed’ perhaps the best-loved of all works for his instrument, the Bach Cello Suites.

Entitled Bach Evolutions, the evening programme explores the music of J.S. Bach reinvented for today and is the finale of Deutsche Grammophon’s 120th anniversary celebrations.
