Unbound, a Festival of New Works for San Francisco Ballet

The dance world is buzzing about the eagerly awaited festival, which over 17 days features commissions by twelve world-class choreographers, films, symposia, and pop-up mixers.

Thursday, 26 April 2018, sees a pair of choreographic premieres: The Infinite Ocean, Edwaard Liang’s creation — with a commissioned score by Oliver Davis — poignantly explores the infinite ocean between life and death; Dwight Rhoden’s creation Let’s Begin At The End — scored by Philip Glass and Michael Nyman — brings brilliant contemporary physicality to a meditation on the complexities of love and relationships.
