Simon Bainbridge celebrates his 50th birthday in August this year. His music will be featured at the Spitalfields Festival in a performance of Eicha, to be given by the BBC Singers and the Endymion Ensemble, conductor Stephen Cleobury, on June 21st at Christchurch Spitalfields. Later in the year, on November 2nd, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France will premiere Simon Bainbridge's 'Voiles', with bassoon soloist Pascal Gallois.
