The Wigmore Hall will present a day of concerts focusing on the music of Helen Grime October 15. The day marks the beginning of the composer’s tenure as Composer in Residence at the prestigious London chamber music venue.

Comprising two concerts and an interview with the composer, the programme will offer audiences the opportunity to immerse themselves in Helen Grime’s music and to learn more about the influences behind her work, ranging from the Baudelaire-inspired Clarinet Concerto of 2009 to the UK premiere one of her most recent pieces, Five North Eastern Scenes for oboe and piano.

Wigmore Hall’s Composer in Residence is supported by The Marchus Trust.
