Bryce Dessner at Cross-Linx Festival

Bryce Dessner at Cross-Linx Festival
Bryce Dessner has been commissioned to compose three new pieces, all of which will be premiered at this year’s Cross-Linx Festival. The new pieces are a set of solo works written for viola player Nadia Sirota, the violinist Pekka Kussisto and Dessner himself.

Cross-Linx Festival began in 2001 and the programme is designed to explore the boundaries between the newest progressive popular music acts and the avant-garde, contemporary classical music.

This year’s Cross-Linx Festival takes place over four days in four different cities throughout the Netherlands starting on February 11. The new pieces will be performed in each city alongside some of Dessner’s existing chamber music.

Visit the Cross-Linx Festival website for further details including the full programme and tickets.
