Chroma - Australian premiere

Chroma - Australian premiere
The Australian premiere of Wayne McGregor’s Chroma with a score by Joby Talbot took place on April 29 2014 at the Sydney Opera House. The run will continue to May 17 and will then open in Melbourne from June 6 to June 14. Comprised of seven pieces of music, four original works by Talbot and three orchestral arrangements of tracks by The White Stripes, Chroma is full of energy and attack in which the dancers explore and explode the boundaries of ballet.

This premiere shares the bill with Jiří Kylián’s “Mozart double”, Petite Mort and Sechs Tänze, and a new work by the Australian Ballet Resident Choreographer Stephen Baynes.
