Jonathan Harvey (1939-2012)

Harvey studied at Cambridge and Princeton, and later taught at Southampton and Sussex universities. His early music shows influences of Britten, Messiaen, Stockhausen and Davies, and since the early 1970s, he developed a more integrated style and emerged as an outstanding composer of electronic music.
