Whitacre in Bilbao and Rome
On November 11 Eric Whitacre will be at La Alhóndiga in Bilbao to conduct the Coro Del Conservatorio and the Coro Euskeria of La Coral De Bilbao in many of his popular choral works.

And, in Rome he will lead two concerts by the Coro Città di Roma on December 17 and 18 focusing on his favourite works, including Nox Aurumque, The Seal Lullaby, Her Sacred Spirit Soars, and the new Alleluia.

The Chelsea Carol is the newest work by Whitacre, composed for, and premiered by, the Choirs of Birmingham-Southern College and their conductor Lester Seigel, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the College's Service of Lessons and Carols. The work will be premiered on December 5. The Chelsea Carol is for mixed voice chorus set to words by Charles Anthony Silvestri.
