The Stockholm Diary of Esa-Pekka Salonen

The week-long celebration of Salonen's music includes many of his recent successes: orchestral highlights include Insomnia, Foreign Bodies and Wing on Wing (all featuring on a new CD due for release by Deutsche Grammophon's 20/21 series in February 2005); there are the Swedish premieres of solo works Dichotomie and Lachen verlernt; and the performers will include Anu Komsi (soprano), Mats Rodin (cello), the Stockholm Kungliga Filharmonikerna, the Stockholm Norrköpings Symfoniorkester, the Stockholm Nya Kammarorkester, and Salonen himself as conductor for four concerts.
