Eternity, a new work for soprano and orchestra by Gabriel Yared will premiere on June 10 in Paris with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. Commissioned by France Musique and the SACEM, this composition is based on a poem by Emily Dickinson and is dedicated to the memory of Anthony Minghella. This commission from Musique France and SACEM came about as a result of Yared winning the Award for Best Film Music at the Cannes Film Festival in 2008 for his soundtrack to Breaking and Entering.
