Remembrance Day, a one-act opera by Stuart MacRae, receives its world premiere in Glasgow on February 20. The piece has been commissioned by Scottish Opera for its acclaimed Five:15 series of new chamber operas. MacRae has collaborated with writer Louise Welsh on the opera, which centres on the relationships between an elderly man, his wife and their cleaner, who unwittingly rekindles dangerous memories.

Performances take place on February 20 and 21 (matinee and evening) at Òran Mór, Glasgow and March 7 and 8 at The Hub, Edinburgh.
