Award nomination for O’Regan’s Scattered Rhymes
The acclaimed recording of Scattered Rhymes by Tarik O'Regan has been nominated in the choral category of the presigious BBC Music Magazine Awards.

The nominations have been selected by a panel of experts from a list of over 250 recordings released last year. The winners, who are voted for by the magazine's readers, will be announced in a ceremony at King's Place, London, on April 7.

Scattered Rhymes was released in 2008 on the Harmonia Mundi label (HMU 8074659) and features the Orlando Consort and Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir conducted by Paul Hiller.

Petroc Trelawny introduces the Choral nominees.

This is the second recent high profile nomination for O'Regan whose recording Threshold of Night (HMU 807490) was nominated for Best Choral Performance and Best Classical Album at this year's Grammy Awards.
