Tarik O'Regan has written a new work to mark the annual celebration of St Cecilia. Voce mea, commissioned by the Musicians Benevolent Fund, will receive its first performance at the MBF's St Cecilia's Day service on November 19 at Westminster Cathedral in London. The combined choirs of St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Westminster Cathedral will be conducted by Martin Baker.
O'Regan will talk to Catherine Bott about the piece in Celebrating Cecilia, a program exploring the life of music's patron saint, to be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on November 18.
