Whitacre steals the show
The world premiere of The Stolen Child by Eric Whitacre proved to be one the highlights of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain’s 25th anniversary gala concert on 13 April.

The piece, a setting of WB Yeats, was composed for The King’s Singers (who were marking their 40th anniversary) and National Youth Choir, and was conducted by Whitacre in front of a capacity audience at Symphony Hall, Birmingham.
