The Royal Northern College of Music is to present a mini-festival of music by its Principal, Edward Gregson. The festival will survey his compositional output from his students days at the Royal Academy of Music to the present day and is scheduled to take place at the RNCM on February 18th and 19th. This festival will be presented jointly by the RNCM with the BBC Philharmonic and will culminate in an all-Gregson orchestral concert given by the BBC Philharmonic, conducted by Martyn Brabbins. This programme will also include Edward Gregson’s Clarinet Concerto with soloist Michael Collins.
