On Thursday November 8, the Academy Ensemble of the Royal Academy of Music, London will perform The Lodger by Joby Talbot . This thrilling score for Alfred Hitchcock’s early silent thriller, starring Ivor Novello, was commissioned by the British Film Institute in 1999. In this performance, the ensemble will be joined by the composer on the piano and conducted by Christopher Austin, who orchestrated and arranged the music.
