Les Editions Choudens is one of the oldest and most prestigious publishing houses in France (1845). This leading classical music publishing and film rights group controls the rights of many famous classical composers of opera such as Berlioz (“Les Troyens”), Bizet (“Carmen”), Gounod (“Faust”), Offenbach (“Les Contes d’Hoffmann”), Daniel Lesur (Andréa del Sarto) as well as famous composers of operetta, such as, André Messager (“Veronique”) Offenbach (“La fille du tambour major”), but also orchestral works by Landowski (Concertos, Symphonies, Notes de Nuit”), Debussy (“Salut Printemps”) and Dutilleux. It also represents many renowned composers of film music such as Michel Legrand, Vincent Scotto, Maurice Jarre, Georges Auric, Joseph Kosma and Arthur Honnegger.


Les Editions Transatlantiques is renowned for its leading contemporary composers such as Jean Françaix, Tristan Murail , André Jolivet, Claude Ballif but also for its catalogue of French film scores by renowned film music composers such as Michel Magne (Music of classic French film “Les Tontons Flingueurs), Georges Van Parys, The catalogue also includes famous songs such as “Maladie d’Amour” (Henri Salvador), “Jeux Interdits” (Yepes) as well as 4 songs written by Serge Gainsbourg, (among them the instrumental piece of music “Les Coeurs Verts” which is the essence of great song “Je t’aime, moi non plus”. But also songs interpreted by Juliette Greco and Bourvil. The catalogue also includes a wide range of pieces for guitar players, composed by Rafaël Andia and Afro-Cuban composer Léo Brouwer.
